AGM NVG-40 Dual-Channel Night Vision Goggles (Gen 3 Auto-Gated Level 1)

The AGM NVG-40 is a robust dual-channel night vision system designed for durability and performance. With its compact composite housing and multi-coated optics, the NVG delivers excellent image clarity in low-light environments. The device is compatible with Gen 2+ or Gen 3 high-performance image intensifier tubes (IIT), and the Gen 3 Auto-Gated "Level 1" option provides top-tier resolution with minimal visible spots, ensuring a clear, high-quality image.

Equipped with Manual Gain Control, the NVG allows users to adjust the image brightness, ensuring the best possible clarity in changing light conditions. The bright light cut-off feature protects the photocathode tube from damage. Operating on either a CR123A or AA battery, the NVG provides up to 20 hours of operation, with the option to extend this to 80 hours with an external battery pack. Additionally, the device includes a built-in infrared illuminator for enhanced visibility when reading or working in complete darkness.

The device features a preinstalled NVG Interface Shoe, allowing for easy attachment to standard dovetail-type mounts. It also includes a Bayonet/Horn Interface Shoe for bayonet or horn-type mounts, and an optional Mini-Rail Interface Shoe is available for use with mini-rail mount systems.
