The AGM NVG-50 is a dual-channel night vision system designed for superior performance in low-light environments. Featuring a 51° field of view (FOV), this device provides a wider visual scope than standard night vision systems. The NVG-50 is built with a durable, lightweight composite housing and advanced multi-coated optics for clear imaging in demanding conditions.

Equipped with a Gen 3 Auto-Gated White Phosphor Level 1 image intensifier tube, the NVG-50 delivers high-resolution imagery with 64-72 lp/mm clarity, ensuring practically no visible spots in Zone 1. The Manual Gain Control allows the user to adjust brightness for optimal performance under varying light conditions. The bright light cut-off feature protects the photocathode tube from exposure to excessive light, while an infrared (IR) illuminator enables close-range tasks in complete darkness.

Powered by either a CR123A or AA battery, the NVG-50 can operate for up to 20 hours on a single charge, with the option of extending battery life up to 80 hours with an external battery pack. It is compatible with various mounts, including standard dovetail and bayonet/horn interfaces, as well as mini-rail systems for versatile hands-free operation.
